Navin Dev's films have screened and been awarded at several international film festivals such as the BAFTA qualifying London Short Film Festival (U.K), Sci-Fi London, Portobello Film Festival (U.K), Sacramento International Film Festival (U.S) and Fantastic Planet: Sydney International Sci-Fi & Fantasy Film Festival (Australia).
'Empire' magazine columnist Kim Newman described his first feature film “Red Kingdom Rising’ (2014) as 'a nicely dense, imagistic feel and a grasp of the nightmarish....study of a cracked psyche, using the tropes of scary children's stories....'
His second feature film ‘Zoo-Head’ premiered at the Sci-Fi London Film Festival in 2019 and streamed on Hulu in the US and Canada.
Navin is also a novelist, having written the Christian fairy-tale trilogy 'Prince Ara of the Sky.'
Navin is involved in Christian advocacy, raising mental health awareness in local Christian communities.
